This mask to shrink pores is my favorite: ultra-easy to do, ultra-efficient, and it smells good!

Makes 1 portion

  • Aloe vera

Preparation

  • Cut a slice of Aloe vera.
  • Open and extract the gel with a spoon.

Application

  • Apply evenly onto your face and rub gently.
  • Leave on until it is dry.
  • Rinse off with room temperature filtered water.
  • Pat dry.

Although Aloe is about 99% water, the remaining 1% is extremely powerful and it is thought this is because the close to 100 ingredients work extremely well together (synergistically). Facial acupressure point GV16, Wind Mansion

Acupressure Point GV16 is efficient to relieve headache, neck stiffness, mental stress, and fight sore throat, nosebleeds, red eyes, dizziness. It’s stimulation relieves the entire area of the head (nose, throat, eyes, mind).

Names:

Governor Vessel 16, GV6, Wind Mansion, Palace of the Wind.

Where is this point?

At the top of the neck, in the large hole below the skull.

How to work this point?

The most convenient way is to use the plump part of the middle finger tip. If your wrist is flexible enough, the thumb is a good alternative because its cushion is larger.
Instead of using your physical strength to press in the point, which is not very practical in this position, tilt your head back and make it rest on your finger. Thus, the weight of your head does the job.
Breathe slowly and deeply for 1 to 2 minutes.

Antioxidant DIY Face Mask Recipe

This simple, easy-to-make anti aging facial mask contains a high amount of antioxidants which are essential for keeping your skin healthy and youthful looking. For best results, buy the freshest ingredients you can find and use them as soon as possible.

antioxidant mask, tomato, parsley, rosemary

Makes 1 portion

  • 1 medium size, ripe tomato
  • 3 sprigs fresh parsley
  • 1 tsp fresh rosemary

Preparation

  • Rinse herbs and tomato thoroughly. Blot dry to remove excess water.
  • Mince the fresh parsley and rosemary finely.
  • Cut the tomato into small pieces. Place in a mortar and pestle and mash until a smooth purée is obtained. Pour into a clean bowl.
  • Place the parsley and rosemary in the mortar and pestle. Pound until you obtain a smooth paste.
  • Mix the minced herbs and puréed tomato thoroughly in a clean, dry bowl.

Application

  • Apply evenly onto your face and neck area.
  • Leave on for 20-30 minutes, then rinse off with luke warm filtered water and pat dry.
